The Environmental Protection Agency's Technology Innovation Office of
the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) desires
analytical, technical and management support services to support
various programs within OSWER, as well as other Agency offices. This
work involves assisting the Agency with the preparation and conducting
of analytical studies of OSWER program strategies and regulatory
initiatives and the analyses of technologies for the treatment and
measurement of hazard wastes. It is anticipated that this will be a
competitive total small business set-aside, cost-plus-fixed-fee
contract. The anticipated release date for the Request for Proposals
(RFP) is September 7, 1999. The anticipated level-of-effort provides
for a three-year contract of 120,000 direct labor hours. The purpose of
this CBD announcement is to notify potential offerors of EPA's
requirement, generate the source list, and to direct interested parties
to the EPA's "Doing Business with EPA" Internet World Wide Web site
(http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod)for further information on this
procurement as it becomes available. Interested parties must forward
requests to be placed on the source list to Kristin Wright either via
Internet E-mail as stated below, via facsimile to (202) 565-2558, or to

Superfund/RCRA Procurement Operations Division, Headquarters Contract

procurement process, and to utilize the Internet and electronic
communications to the maximum extent possible, the subject RFP,
amendments and other related items for this procurement will be posted
on the EPA Office of Acquisition Management's (OAM) homepage, under
the area entitled "Doing Business with EPA." Also posted on the
Internet will be an ongoing status update to inform interested parties
of current information related to the procurement. EPA does not
anticipate printing copies of the RFP, therefore, Potential Offerors
are requested to download the RFP and amendments from this location,
