The National Emergency Training Center has a requirement for the implementation of an Arson Prevention Program, Coalition and Activities associated with the National Arson Prevention Initiative (NAPI) Grant each city received in FY99. The purpose of the contract is to support the eight FY99 Arson Prevention Grant Cities. The exact support will be a function of the individual community. At present, many national organizations have committed their support and resources to the Arson Prevention Initiative. Successful implementation requires a comparable grassroots coalition effort in the affected communities. The Federal government will become a catalyst to bring people together locally and provide limited resources through existing agencies to initiate community arson prevention program. The period of performance of the resulting purchase order will be from date of award throught December 31, 2000. A firm-fixed price purchase order is contemplated. Award will be based on past performance, previous experience and qualifications of personnel using Simplified Accquisition Procedures. The Request for Quotation will be ready 08-11-99.
