OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. On or about 7/23/99, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of City Center Square at KANSAS CITY MO 64196-9998. Proposals will be opened on 9/3/99 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $224,000.00 and $249,000.00. Description of the work is renovation of space in City Center Square for use as a new Postal facility. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
