Only written requests for solicitations will be accepted. Furnish all labor material and equipment necessary to modify the aircraft fuel system as indicated at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station North Bend, OR. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Replace two existing 1/3 horsepower, 208 volts, 1 phase, 60 Hertz, 4 inch, submersible fuel pumps with new 1-1/2-horse power pumps; Provide new access platform for pump and fill/supply inlets at the existing above ground storage tanks; Relocate the existing filter separator, main filter, relaxation tank, fuel meter, valves, and piping; Remove existing static cable reel assembly, hatch, and hose reel assembly from the fuel pit. Salvage the existing hose reel coupler/adapter; Demolish the existing 8 feet by 8 feet concrete pad including top portion of the fuel pit; Trench, disconnect and salvage the existing buried pipe at the fuel pit; The Coast Guardwill remove the existing storage cabinets from the fuel building; Provide a new diaphragm-operated control valve. Connect it down stream of the third filter separator, and make it operational; Provide new collecting pans under all the manual water drains; Provide new drain piping system and connect all the relief valves and air eliminator valves to it. Provide an empty 50 gallon capacity, portable drum under the drain pipe for fuel recovery; Provide rooftop exhaust fan, control and electric power; Provide new six inch high concrete dike at two locations; Provide new concrete grouting around the existing sump to seal the gap between the sump and the floor; Provide a new fuel dispensing system and make it operational; and Instruction to Government Personnel. Estimated Range is $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The applicable SIC code is 1623.
