The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for the purchase of 325 each: Electronic Blasting Machine meeting the following specifications: must be fully waterproof, including battery compartment; be resistant to impact, electrical shock, sand, oil and gasoline; weigh no more than 1 pound; have a width of no more than 3 inches; operate with one 9-volt battery; be able to sustain no less than 250 charge/detonate cycles in quick succession; fire no less than 50 electric detonators in straight series, and 25 electric detonators in 2 parallel series; have a charge time of 2 seconds or less on a new battery; have dual switch activation; have a minimum output of 225VDC at 4 joules; be serialized and imprinted with special agent and bomb technician insignias (artwork provided); have built-in means to attach to and detach from a 2 12-wide belt; have a light that indicates the unit's readiness to fire, light must be visible in direct light. ATF also has a requirement for the purchase of 150 each: Galvanometer, meeting the following specifications: must be fully waterproof, including battery compartment; be resistant to impact, electrical shock, sand, oil and gasoline; be approved by Mine Safety and Health Administration; have an abrasion resistant face plate protecting the analog meter; have a meter range of no less than 0-160 Ohms and 0-25 divisions; weigh no more than 10 ounces; have a width of no more than 3 inches; be serialized; have a built-in means to attach to and detach from a 2 12-wide belt; operates with one silver chloride dry cell battery. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Manassas, VA 20110. Award will be based on meeting the specifications listed above, on an All or None basis, price and acceptance of payment via EFT.
