The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure a variety of laboratory equipment and instruments from VWR Scientific, International Division, Plainfield, NJ. This equipment will assist the Malaria Vaccine Development Unit in setting up laboratories on location in Mali, West Africa. These laboratories are part of a developing scientific infrastructure, which will aid researchers in all areas of malaria vaccine development.
