It is anticipated that the Engineering Services and Support for T53 series engines will be procured sole source from AlliedSignal Engines, 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 80534. AlliedSignal Engines is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and holds the FAA issued Type Certificate for the T53 engine. It is the only source with current and complete technical data sufficient to perform the required tasks. AlliedSignal is the only contractor with the technical expertise and knowledge to successfully perform this procurement.
