TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, DISN Administration Branch DITCO-DTS23), Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a sole source contract extension to contract vehicle DCA200-98-D-0012 for the administration and maintenance of the Integrated Network Management System (INMS) of the Defense Information Infrastructure (DII), to WANG Government Service, Inc, 7900 Westpark Drive, McClean, VA 22102. The contract shall be extended for the period 01 October 1999 to 31 December 1999, with seven one-month options. The purpose of the proposed contract extension is to allow contractor personnel to obtain the required Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) certification which is to be granted by the German Government for the recently competitively awarded follow on effort. It is imperative during this accreditation phase that the critical mission functions of DISA-Europe Regional Network Operations and Security Center (RNOSC), located in building 2340 at Patch Barracks, Vaihingen, Germany and the existing remote capabilities located at U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), do not experience a degradation in continuity of operations. The requirement includes, but is not limited to the following task: network management and related task for definition of system level requirements; information engineering; analysis of developing concepts; analysis of alternative hardware and software allocations to system requirements; provision of data communications hardware and software; validation of site preparation plans; conduct training and performance of hardware, software, and system maintenance.
