The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to procure pack and crate services of personal property in the San Diego area for outbound (Solicitation N00244-99-R-0254, Schedule 1), inbound (Solicitation N00244-99-R-0255, Schedule 2) and intra-city, intra-area (Solicitation N00244-99-R-0255, Schedule 3) moves. Period of performance will be from 01 Jan 2000 through 31 Dec 2000. The resulting contract for Schedule 2 will be a Requirements type contract. The contracts proposed for Schedules 1and 3 will be Indefinite Quantity type contracts. The Government anticipates making multiple awards for Schedules 1 and 3. The estimated quantities will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the FISC-SD Web Site http://www.sd.fisc.navy.mil. Offerors that download the RFP must monitor the Web Site for potential changes to the acquisition. RFP amendments, and questions and answers concerning the solicitation will be posted exclusively on the Web Site. All posted information will clearly display its date of posting.
