Y -- Pool A Site Work consists of degrading Spoil Area PA-5 and installing two (2) 48-inch culverts in the access road to Spoil Area PA-1. The degrading work will excavate and dispose about 150,000 cubic yards of unclassified material on PA-5. PA-1 is located in the northern end of Pool A about one mile south of State Road 60. PA-5 is located about 11 miles south of PA-1. Road access is available to PA-1. Access to PA-5 will have to be by water along Canal C-38. Land-based construction equipment needed would include, but not be limited to, the following: bulldozer, grader, hauler, scraper, and dump truck. In addition to the equipment listed, a tow boat and barge to transport equipment to the job site would be needed. Construction time is 270 calendar days (including 90 days for grassing). Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Pre-Solicitation Notice will be issued 9 August 1999.
