Types of routine road maintenance service include blading aggregate surface roads, spot surface repair work using various types of specified aggregate, cleaning/reshaping ditches, routine as well as reclamation mowing, heavy brushing, seeding/fertilizing, machine placed riprap, hazard tree removal, sign installation/replacement, etc. Roads which may be designated to receive maintenance services are limited to (1) roads under Forest Service jurisdiction and (2) roads under other local jurisdiction that are designated for Forest Service road maintenance under a cooperative agreement.
