storage facilities for conventional small arms weapons in accordance
with scope of work and quidance from purchase specification NSWC
3046-93-2 dated 24 Oct 97. Purchase specification NSWC 3046-93-2 is
necessary for the contractor to properly prepare and submit their
quotation. Quantity: One (1) each with option quantity of two each
(maximum quantity of three (3). Arms vault shall be approximately 512
sq. ft., constructed in one piece and the exterior width shall not
exceed 16 feet, exterior length shall not exceed 40 feet, interior
height is a minimum of seven (7) feet, exterior height is a maximum of
eight (8) feet. Must be able to accept two (2) M16A2 arms racks double
stacked. Vault shall have only one (1) door. Vault shall have a bullet
resistant enclosure over AC unit. Vault shall be equipped so that it
can be anchored to concrete pad. Exterior of vault shall be painted
white. Vault shall have four (4) 110 volt quad receptacles. Electrical
receptacles shall be located inthe center of each wall. NFPA 780
lightening protection is required. Vault shall be provided with 100
AMP, 220, single phase exterior disconnect. Interior lights shall be
6-8 feet long duplex dust and vapor resistant fluorescent lights.
Telephone junction box will be provided on the exterior of vault. Vault
shall be equipped with four 12 inch by 12 inch screened vents. Vault
shall be pre-fabricated of a minimum of 1/4 inch steel exterior and
wood lined at least 2 inches of hardwood. Vault shall be insulated with
insulation of at least R-4. Vault shall have a protective coating
capable of resisting environmental elements and preventing
oxidation/deterioration. Vault shall have structural stiffeners. Vault
will have conduit installed to support an ADVANTOR IDS system. The
contractor is responsible for coordinating these requirements with
ADVANTOR Corp. This is only a partial scope of work. You must request
a complete quotation package. FOB Destination: Ft. Buchanan, P.R.
(necessary coordination with the Provost Marshal to deliver units on
post and any coordination at the Port of San Juan is the responsiblity
of the contractor). Delivery: 9 weeks after award. This is considered
a commerical item and FAR clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52-212-3I,
52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.228-5, 52.232-19, 252.212-7001 apply. Standard
Industry Code (SIC) is 3484 and size standard is 500 people. Request
for copies of RFQ shall be forwarded to Linda D. Stanley, datafax (334)
441-5765. Firm's physical address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and
name of point of contact must be provided with request for RFQ to
facilitate any overnight mailing, if required. Telephone request will
not be honored. This procurement is a 100 percent set-aside for small
