for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation R1-04-99-79 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This is a total
small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification code
is 3732, and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
Quotations are requested on a 20' welded aluminum, deep vee outboard
boat with the following specifications: Length: 20'; Beam: 94"; Bottom
width: 72"; Bottom thickness: .190"; Side thickness: .125"; Forward
helm; Walk-thru windshield; Recessed self-draining bow; Sharp bow
entry; 16 degree planning service; Dive/swim step with folding ladder;
Enclosed canvascabin with top, back and side curtains; Built-in fuel
tank; Steering controls; Engine controls; Driver seat permanent mount
with 5 other removable seats davit socket; Engine hour meter-main
engine; Lockable glove box/small storage box; Davit socket built-in on
one corner of the splash well and into the floor for a small hand
crane (hand crane is not part of this solicitation); Cleats welded,
1-each front gunnels, 4-each rear gunnels, spaced evenly from midship
to splash well; Aft platform bracks welded to gunnels from midship
around splash wall for ATV/Snowmobile cargo platform; 3 cleats welded
on the inside by the floor each side evenly spaced from midship to
splash wall; 150 hp 2 cycle motor outboard bracket with a 10 hp Tiller
Kicker motor or equivalent; Galvanized trailer with bunks, trailer
stand and brakes. Boat must meet U.S.C.C. requirements for outboards.
Delivery date will 120 calendar days from award of a contract at
Sandpoint Ranger District, Sandpoint, ID. The provision at 52.212-1,
Instructionsto Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. A
contract will be awarded to the best overall value offer, price and
other factors considered. Offerors shall include a completed copy of
the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications,
Commercial Items with its offer. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract
Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms
and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders --
