Background "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Scope of Work is the following: Upgrade of existing Questar QRMS-II remote measurement system (long distance microscope) is required. The upgrade will enhance the remote measuring system ability to control the optics and add higher resolution to the system. The QRMS-II is used to track crack growth in composite material while under different type stress test. The upgrade is to consist of the following equipment: 1.Three Axis TranslationStage 4""x4""x2"", P/N: 53875ME, 2. Pentium Computer w/ Windows 95, P/N: 67350, 3. 17"" Monitor, P/N: 67365, 4. RMS II Interface, V. 4.0 Compatible, P/N: 68610, 5. RMS V 4.0 Software Upgrade Windows 95, P/N: 67804-V4, 6. Frame Grabber Upgrade for existing RMS System, P/N: 67000-VX, and 7.
