This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is 301819Q253 for this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be followed. Standard Industrial Classification code 5032 applies. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. Contractor to furnish and spread course aggregate on refuge roads as directed by and coordinated with the Refuge Manager. FOB: Destination Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. Approved weight tickets indicating gross, tare, and net weight and date of delivery shall be furnished to the Government Inspection at the time of delivery to the job site. Material delivered without weight tickets and/or weight tickets submitted subsequent to material delivery will be rejected for payment. The Government may require testing to assure that the aggregate meets the requirements specified herein. All deliveries shall be made between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except on National Holidays, unless other arrangements are made with the Refuge Manager.
