Provide, install, and startup a new filter system to remove sewer gases from domestic sewage pretreatment plant located at Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon National Park, Fresno County, California. Cedar Grove is a seasonally operated facility, open from mid-April to mid-November. The anaerobic bacteria are of a cryophilic nature, as the tank is unheated. The filter system shall be designed and incorporate provisions to meet the following service conditions: 1. Environment: Sierra Nevada Mountains river canyon, well drained, sandy soil, generally arid conditions. 2. Temperature Range: 15 to 102 degrees F. 3. Precipitation: Approximately 30" per year with winter snowfall of 2-3 feet. 4. Altitude: 4600' above sea level. 5. Potable water and power at pretreatment tank site. Contract to include onsite training for NPS operations staff and forty hours of post construction consultation. Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000.
