Specifications will be available August 16, 1999. This is being procured under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures. This solicitation will be a Performance Base Contract. Quotation evaluations will be base on price, technical factors, past performance, and over all best value. This work includes furnishing all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision to replace existing roll-up doors and related work. Contractor will be required to remove three (3) rolling steel service doors with chain hoist operated mounted to the masonry opening. Contractor will provide and install three (3) new rolling steel service doors motor operated complete with indoor explosion proof push button controls. New doors are to be mounted on the outside of wall due to hazardous location. All conduit, fittings, and enclosures inside or passing through building shall be ridged and sealed per NEC suitable for hazardous locations. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1751. The related Small Business Size Standards is $7.0 Million. Completion time is 40 calendar days after award.
