The project scope involves the modernization of three (3) elevators at the Keystone Station P & DF including one (1) passenger elevator and two (2) freight elevators. The modernization consists of the replacement of existing jack units, pump motors, controllers, power units, guide rails, landing doors, car enclosure, and hoistway entrances. The existing capacities will be maintained except for one (1) freight elevator which will be upgraded to a 20,000 lb capacity. Upgrades to the power supply to provide 480 volt, 3 phase service and ventilation of the existing machine rooms are also a part of this project. The remaining four (4) freight elevators will be closed down. The estimated price range is between $450,000 and $480,000 with completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
