The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of the RT-1666A/APX-100(V) Radar Receiver-Transmitter, NSN 5841-01-342-3848 and the RT-1667A/APX-100(V) Radar Receiver-Transmitter, NSN 5841-01-342-3847 part of the AN/APX-100 IFF Transponder System. This acquisition will be awarded on a sole source basis with Raytheon Systems Company, Baltimore, Maryland. The type of contract will be a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) production contract with delivery orders placed on a firm-fixed-price basis. Ten (10) units of each item will be the minumun quantity to be procured. The maximum ordering quantity over the five year period of performance is 250 each per item. See Note 22.
