This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is Request for Quotation (RFQ) F08620-99-T0910. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 97-12. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Description of Requirement: Furnish Lighting Equipment _ Mobile Light Towers with two wheeled trailer, four (4) 1000 watt halide lamps and a six (6) Kilowatt water cooled generator. The manufacturer for these light towers is Ingersol Rand, model number L6-4MH, or equal. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Hurlburt Field, FL. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors_Commercial Items with ADDENDA as follows: (b)(12) ADD: Each offeror shall submit their signed and dated offer in one (1) original and one (1) copy to the 16th Contracting Squadron, Attn: Eric Lingad, P.O. Box 9190, Hurlburt Field, FL, 32544. The proposal must be signed by an official authorized to bind your organization. Offers that fail to furnish required representations and certifications, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be removed from consideration. (h) Deleted and replaced with: Award will be made to a single offeror based upon the evaluation factors listed in FAR 52.212-2(a). (l) ADD: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998) is incorporated by reference into the solicitation and contract. Offerors must be registered to receive an award.
