The contractor will be required to expand the hyperspectral and related sensing technologies related to the LASH which was initially developed under contracts N66001-96-C-0148 and N6601-98-D-0002. It is the Office of Naval Research's intent to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with Science and Technology International, Inc. which designed the LASH. See Note 22.
