J -- SKID RESISTANT FLOOR TREATMENT DUE 042800 POC For copy, MAIL TO ABOVE ADDRESS include mfg code, For additional information contact William Walton/Lukb/[912]926-7270 This is a sources sought synopsis to accomplish an anticipated requirement to apply a Skid Resistant Floor treatment to the MH-53 helicopter. The floor coating must be permanently applied, durable, provide a skid resistant surface for personnel and cargo, and provide skid resistance when contaminated with water, oil, fuel, and/or other substances. The aircraft will operate in a corrosive environment. Weight and maintenance requirements are also factors. Current research indicates that the application of an undetermined material by means of Thermal Spray Coating will provide an acceptable surface. A formal solicitation does not exist at this time and this is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Firms interested in providing materials for consideration, suggesting alternate means of obtaining the objective and/or application of the floor treatment should provide Company name, Address, Point of contact, Cage code, Phone number, Size of business pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 3728 (750 employees), and a statement of domestic or foreign ownership. Firms should also provide information concerning their capabilities and prior contract experience regarding this type of effort.
