Specialist, Kristina The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to modify
Bath Iron Works Corporation's Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)
N00024-95-G-2807 for Post Shakedown Availabilities (PSA) and Emergent
Availabilities for DDG 51 Class Destroyers DDG 79 OSCAR AUSTIN and DDG
81 WINSTON S. CHURCHILL. Under this effort, Bath will provide advance
planning, engineering support, planning documentation, and
accomplishment of emergent availabilties which include but are not
limited to Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRA's), Restricted
Availabilties (RAV's), drydocking availabilties, and Technical
Availabilties. The subject BOA will also be modified to include DDG 51
Class PSA Planning and Support for DDG 51 Class ships built by Ingalls
Shipbuilding, Inc. Under this effort, Bath will provide advance
planning engineering documentation necessary to accomplish the
execution of the PSAs, advisory engineering assistance relating to the
execution of the PSAs, engineering and technical support during Final
Contract Trials (FCT), Design Reviews and PSA Planning Conferences,
and other meetings as directed by the Navy. Bath will also provide
on-site liaison representatives at the executing PSA facility to
support technical coordination of planning, production, and testing
efforts. Bath will order long lead time material and will provide
staging, crating, and delivery support services for Government
furnished Material (GFM) and other material procured by Bath Iron Works
as required. Bath will provide material, technical support and craft
personnel, including supervision and ship services during FCT,
pre-operational evaluations, light-off examinations and other
situations involving resolution of ship class problems, and will update
Selected Record Data and Drawings based on input from the executing PSA
