Phase II Notice to Proceed can not be given until the road is well under way. If Phase II NTP is not issued by 4-1-2000 the contractor will have an option to extend their price. We do not want extra contingencies included because of the unknown date for Phase II. Provide and pay for all materials, labor, services, equipment, licenses, taxes, and other items necessary for the execution, installation and completion of Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work involves the construction of site improvements at an existing building at the location indicated on Drawings. Work includes but is not limited to, miscellaneous site demolition, excavation, concrete and bituminous concrete pavements, concrete curbing, storm water drainage system, pavement marking, electrical, additional exterior lighting and landscaping, complete and ready for use. 1. The Work will be performed at an existing facility ownedby the U.S.P.S. 2. The Work will require coordination with the U.S.P.S. to maintain site access for public and delivery vehicular traffic. The estimated price range is between $180,000 and $220,000 with completion within 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed for each phase. The contractor must provide documentation along with their proposal, evidencing their bonding capabilities, although no proposal guarantee is required to submit an offer.
