This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured primarily by Aeroquip Corp., however, there are some items where other approved sources exist. All NSNs are available for download under the "special download" menu item on the DSCC Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB). Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. FSCs to be covered under this project include; 4730 (Predominant), also 1560, 1650, 1680, 2910, 2915, 4710, 4720, 4820, 4930, 5310, 5330, 5340, and 5342. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at thediscretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
