Furnish console furniture for five dispatch positions to house electronic console. Cabinetry shall consist of structural frame, exterior decorative panels. Structural frame members shall be of at least 14 gauge cold rolled steel. Each enclosure shall incorporate provisions for bolting to an adjacent enclosure on both sides to form a console of unlimited length. Writing surface shall protrude at least 17 inches from console bezel and be on one continous surface. Conventional steel consoles with low profile turrets or desk bases are required. The electronic enclosures below the writing surface shall be accessible from the front and rear and be equipped with locking panels or doors. The finish shall be water based baked enamel and plasticizer atomization and escaping fumes from the particle board adhesives must be controlled or prevented. Ergonomic functionality is required.
