The purpose of the Medicaid Managed Care System RFP is to select a qualified contractor to develop and implement a Medicaid Managed Care System (MMCS), enhanced with managed care administration, enrollment, capitation and premium computations, encounter processing, Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT), and certain other functions traditionally related to a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). This system is to provide a comprehensive and flexible new automated support tool to augment the MMIS and related systems. This system will be operated by the DHCF.
