J -- MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR SONY EQUIPMENT SOL N00600-99-R-2746 POC Darien DiCamillo, 202-433-2051 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to negotiate a sole source maintenance services contract with Sony Electronics Corporation, Inc. The contract period will be 12 months with four 12-month options. A brief description of the services being negotiated is as follows: Receipt, tear-down, inspection, repair and test to OEM specifications of Sony broadcast and industrial Recorders/Reproducers, Viewfinders, Control Units, Color Monitors, Camcorders, Camera Heads, Camera Adapters and Editing Control Units. Most of this equipment is no longer in production and the Government has a requirement of a guaranteed repair turnaround time of 8 business days for each equipment model to be covered on the contract. RFP N00600-99-R-2746 will be issued approximately 15 days from the date of this publication. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
