The Center for Substance Abuse and Treatment/SAMHSA through the Program Support Center, General Acquisition Branch plans to award a sole source requirement to The Certification Board of Addicition Professionals of Florida to convene an Advisory Committee to include several national organizations and associations to develop standards for national criminal justice certification, as well as electronic and non-electronic support materials needed for transfer of the certification process to other states and the national certification bodies. The period of performance shall be 12 months. The first meeting shall be held by September 13, 1999 in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The Contractor shall collaborate with the Center for Substance Abuse and Treatment to develop standards for national criminal justice certification, develop and implement a dissemination/marketing strategy utilizing multi-media and electronic technology.
