synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance wit
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice, This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for Proposals under
Solicitation No. 7FXPI-W7-99-S028-N, Warehouse support services for
the Southwestern Distribution Center (SWDC) in Fort Worth, TX. The
contract period is October 1, 1999 through April 30, 2000. Offerors are
advised that the successful contractor must have 3 years continuous
experience in federal supply service depot support operations. The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Acquisition Circular 97-02. This Solicitation is not
set-aside for small business. The line items of the contract are as
follows: CLIN 001 Material Handling Laborer, CLIN 002 Warehouse
Specialist, CLIN 003 Lead Warehouse Specialist. Offerors are advised
that the hours of operations for the SWDC are Monday through Friday
7:00 AM through 5:00 PM and services may be required during any of
those time periods. The vendor will provide all administration and
supervision necessary for the above service through an on-site manager
at the SWDC. Offerors are requested to submit pricing for the above
Line Items on an hourly basis. Task Orders will be issued from time to
time under the contract for specific deliverables. Delivery and
acceptance will be at the SWDC, Fort Worth, TX. The provisions at
52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial applies to this
acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items
is applicable to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria will be
demonstrated past performance with a minimum of three years continuos
experience in federal supply service depot support operations and
price. Offerors are advised to submit a completed copy of the
provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification --
Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions --
Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5
Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or
Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The
following FAR clauses cited in Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to this
acquisition: 52.203-6 Restriction on Subcontractor Sales to the

Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam
Era. The Contractor agrees to comply with the FAR clauses in paragraph
(c ) of FAR Clause 52.212-5, applicable to commercial services, which
the Contracting Officer has indicated as being incorporated in this
contract by reference to implement provisions of law or executive
orders applicable to the acquisitions of commercial items or components
as follows: FAR clause 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as
Amended, 52.222-43 Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Contract Act --
Price Adjustment (for Multiple Year and option Contracts) 52.222-47 SCA
Minimum Wages and Fringe Benefits Applicable to Successor Contract
Pursuant to Predecessor Contractor Collective bargaining Agreement.
Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 94-2513, Revision 14,
Revised 06/01/99 is hereby incorporated into this contract. Offers are
