This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance wit the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for Proposals under Solicitation No. 7FXPI-W7-99-S028-N, Warehouse support services for the Southwestern Distribution Center (SWDC) in Fort Worth, TX. The contract period is October 1, 1999 through April 30, 2000. Offerors are advised that the successful contractor must have 3 years continuous experience in federal supply service depot support operations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Acquisition Circular 97-02. This Solicitation is not set-aside for small business. The line items of the contract are as follows: CLIN 001 Material Handling Laborer, CLIN 002 Warehouse Specialist, CLIN 003 Lead Warehouse Specialist. Offerors are advised that the hours of operations for the SWDC are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM through 5:00 PM and services may be required during any of those time periods. The vendor will provide all administration and supervision necessary for the above service through an on-site manager at the SWDC. Offerors are requested to submit pricing for the above Line Items on an hourly basis. Task Orders will be issued from time to time under the contract for specific deliverables. Delivery and acceptance will be at the SWDC, Fort Worth, TX. The provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria will be demonstrated past performance with a minimum of three years continuos experience in federal supply service depot support operations and price.
