The dredged material will be placed into barges, transported to a nearby offloading site, placed into sealed dump trucks, and transported to a local landfill for disposal. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. Large business firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan, this plan does not have to be submitted with bid. The subcontracting goals are 25% for small business; 10% for small disadvantaged business, 5% for women-owned business and 1% for hubzone business.
