The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing ceiling drywall to allow insulation of existing non-insulated metal ductwork throughout the ceiling of the first floor of 34 housing units (includes approximately 200 lineal feet of ductwork per unit). Work includes dropping an existing soffit and replace all gypsum board ceiling that is removed or damaged during demolition. Contractor is to paint entire first floor ceiling (approximately 600 square feet per unit) after repair work is complete. Housing units are occupied; furniture will be moved away from work area. Three housing units will be available for work at all times. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification and Drawings (Sheets 1 3).
