This announcement constitutes the only soliciation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The Marine Corps Northeast Regional Contracting office currently has a requirement for furnishing and installing a Facility Security System Hardware/Software package located at the Battle Staff Training Facility, 2048 South Street, MCCDC, Quantico, VA. to include: a. Computer System with Uninterrupted Power Source (UPS), applicable programs, back-up hard drive capable of supporting an automated security system of at least 100 zones. b. Associated documentation and back-up must be provided. c. Capability of expanding system to include an additional 100 zones.d. Instruction on all systems installed, and basic trouble shooting. e. Capability of knowing which doors are open and clsoed at any given time. f. The capability to make badge/pass-cards on site. g. Capability to make badge/pass-cards off site. h. Capability of creating limited access for each zone within the facility. i. Capability to make self expiring badges/pass-cards. j. Capability of setting times of allowed access. k. Maintain the Visual integrity of the facility. l. Wiring must be behind walls. m. Modifying existing security doors and installing electric strike devices. n. Modifying existing security doors and installing electric door bottoms. o. Installing security bars on existing windows x7. p. Installing magnetic locks on existing doors, including 2 sets of double loading doors. q. Replace 13 existing storage locks (keyted entry only) with classroom locks (optional entry, with or without key). r. Replace existing fire doors with approved security doors. s. Install emergency exit/CDX07 locks on replacement fire doors. t. Install "open/shut" sensors on existing and replacement doors. u. Install 2X keyed access locks on existing doors (key required for both directions). v. Central location of the system will be on the (1st) first floor, within the administration office. w. Rehang all doors to shut properly. x. Place wrap around astragal's on all double doors x6. y. Plane door edge's to ensure proper fit. z. 90 day warranty. A written request for quotation will not be issued. Award will be made by delivery date, item or lot whichever is most advantageous to the Government.
