This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation; proposals are being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. F04684-99-T0389 is being issued as a request for quotation for Repair and Refinish Basketball and Racquetball Courts, at Vandenberg AFB, California. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The proposed procurement is unrestricted. The size standard and SIC are 5 million and 7991 respectively. There will be one contract line, one job for this acquisition. The contractor shall provide, unless otherwise specified, all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to refinish the basketball and racquetball courts. Materials: Moisture curing urethane gloss to be used for wood flooring of the basketball and racquetball courts. Location: Basketball court size: 120 X 82'. Repair five dead spots in the main court of basketball floor; remove worn out wood and replace it with new wood; screen entire gym floor (bleachers to remain closed position); worn main court keys to be sanded to bare wood; add new broken lines. Included are the game lines and graphics, (lettering and the "V" at the jump circle); apply two coats of moisture curing urethane gloss. Three racquetball courts size: 40 X 20'. Screen entire floor and worn keys to be sanded bare; repair one dead spot racquetball court no. 3; remove worn out wood and replace it with new wood; add new broken lines at each court; apply two coats of moisture curing urethane gloss.
