The Center for Substance Abuse and Treatment/SAMHSA, through the General Acquisitions Branch/PSC intends to award a sole source Simplified Acquisition to the City and County of San Francisco, Department of Public Health for a Feasibility Study of San Francisco's proposed Methadone by Physician Prescription (MPP) program. The period of performance is one year. The Contractor shall conduct a fiscal analysis of the proposed MPP project including:exploration of reimbursement strategies, possible insurance coverage, and costs of program administration, training and oversight. With help from the MPP Working group, develop and document program Quality Control procedures, and program evaluation protocols. A centralized program database shall be developed, installed and pilot tested that shall meet the program administration, data collection, treatment compliance, and program evaluation needs of the project.
