(NASN), P. O. Box 1300, Scarborough, Maine 04070-1300. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to implement activities to assist in meeting the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) 5-Year Plan objectives. The contractor shall: participate in the EMSC Partnership for Children meetings and prepare a report; disseminate EMSC information to the NASN; develop a student curriculum and instructor manual for "Managing School Emergencies, Phase III; train a national cadre of instructors to teach the course; and prepare a final report of the project. The National Association of School Nurses, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
