Contract Specialist The U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks
offers for construction of the Meyers Branch Low Water Crossing
Structure. Work includes demolition and removal of the existing rock
gabion and concrete low water crossing at Meyers Branch Stream,
installation of a new low water crossing consisting of vinyl sheet
piling wall and concrete deck, and installation of a culvert with an
aluminum stop-log water control structure adjacent to the water
crossing. Depending on weather conditions, project construction may be
delayed til February 2000. This project is located on the Hagerman
National Wildlife Refuge in Grayson County, Texas. The price range is
between 100,000 and $250,000. Bid, payment, and performance bonds or
other form of security will be required. The anticipated bid opening
date is October 7, 1999. This procurement is open to both small and
