Provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials to replace existing
fire detection and alarm system in building 105 with a new addressable
fire detection and alarm system, other electrical work, and demolition
work as specified herein and/or shown on the contract drawings. The new
system shall include a new addressable fire alarm control panel, heat
detectors, ceiling and A/C duct duct mounted smoke detectors, manual
pull stations, audible/visual notification appliances, transient
voltage surge suppressor and telephone dialer. The existing ionization
type smoke detectors which will be removed under this contract shall
be returned to their original manufacturer. All costs related to this
work shall be included. The contractor shall submit certification and
signed receipt indicating that the detectors were received by their
corresponding manufacturers. Existing detectors are Pyrotronics,
Simplex and Notifier. This solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside.
The Sic-code is 1731 and the size is $7.0M. Payment bond is required,
prior to notice to proceed, if over $25,000.00. All responsible
sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. No

minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short term working cpital and bonding assistance for transportation
related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or
subconttact at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables
firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0
million per contract. The COT provides an 80% guarantee on the bond
amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the
DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
