54 -- AIRCRAFT TAIL STANDS AND FUSELAGE STANDS SOL DAHA06-99-B-0004 POC Ms. Grant, Contracting Officer, (860) 524-4865 The Connecticut Army National Guard requires (3) each aircraft tail stands for CH-47 aircraft and (4) each fuselage stands for CH-47 aircraft. The tail stands are required for providing access to the complete tail area, with two working levels, removeable steps and guardrails. The fuselage stands are required for providing access to the top of the fuselage to include one working leveel and handrails. These stands are work platforms. No portion of the work stands rest upon or transfers and load or force to the aircraft. The stands are fabricated from aluminum or other suitable light-weight alloy and can be rolled into position by no more than four persons for the tail stands and two persons for the fuselage stands. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. A firm-fixed price contract is expected.
