Access Control System shall consist of a Software House magnetic card swipe reader with PIN keypad, Sentrol 2707A magnetic contact, and a 12 vdc continuous duty rated latch and a request-to-exit button (which will be tied to APC directly). Wiring shall be in rigid conduit to the 2nd floor, emt after that per manufacturer_s instructions. Conduit shall be concealed within walls and ceiling, and contractor shall repair walls to match existing finish and decor. The security control system shall consist of 2 Radionics D-9112 control panels housed in locked D-8108a attack resistant enclosures providing for up to 16 separate areas. Each panel shall include the following Radionics equipment: D-1640 Transformer; D-1255 Alphanumeric Keypads (1 for each area, plus 1 at each panel); D-8122 Subscriber Terminal Unit; D-8125 Popex module(s); D-8129 Octorely(s); D-9127 Popit Modules; and D-928 Phone Switch Module; Alarm Saf PS 5 BFS 12-4 amp Auxiliary Power Supply; Detection Systems DS 938Z Motion Detectors; Sentrol 2707A Magnetic Contacts (as required); 12 volt Backup Batteries (as required); and any additional equipment as required. In order to meet VAFB security requirements, specified equipment shall not be substituted. Work is to start within 10 days of contract award, and completed 60 calendar days after award of contract.
