A -- SUPPORT FOR PRODUCT MANAGER, SMOKE/OBSCURANTS SOL n/a POC Ms. Sharon Zarnosky, Contract Specialist, 410-436-4478; Ms. Pat Moore, Contracting Officer, 410-436-2227 The U.S. Army Soldier, Biological and Chemical Command (SBCCOM) intends to negotiate with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in Falls Church, VA, on a non-competitive basis (per FAR 6.302-1) for a modification to existing Contract No. DAAM01-97-C-0023 to obtain support for the Product Manager, Smoke/Obscurants for the following: (1)Revising and updating the Training Products (TPs) for the Generator, Smoke, Mechanical: Mechanized Smoke Obscurant System, M58 and Generator, Smoke Mechanical: Motorized for Dual Purpose Unit, M56, (2) Provide Manual Change Pages for the M58 and M56 Smoke Generator Systems, (3) Provide New Equipment Training (NET) for the M58, M56, and LVOSS and (4) Provide field support deprocessing for the M157A2/M1059A2/A3 Smoke Systems. CSC is the only contractor that has the necessary experience and expertise required to perform this effort without substantial duplication of cost and within the schedule constraints of the LVOSS and the M157A2/M1059A2/A3.
