The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking to put in place purchase order(s) for preparation of HUD's Rent Comparability Studies (RCS) of properties for which HUD has entered into Section 8 subsidy contracts for HUD's South Carolina State Office. Any businesses wishing to perform these RCS must be State Certified General Appraisers licensed in the state of South Carolina. The geographical areas covered by this Request for Quotations (RFQ) are the Southern, Northwest, Central and Northeast regions of South Carolina (a list delineating the counties that comprise each of these areas will be included in the RFQ). The projected performance period of the purchase order(s) will be September 30, 1999 through September 30, 2000. HUD may extend the period of performance for an additional one-year period. The total value of the purchase order(s) will not exceed $100,000.00. Multiple awards may be made as a result of this RFQ to be issued on or about August 27, 1999.
