The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to a small business (100% small business set-aside) for labor, material, equipment and transportation required to provide general laundry services. The laundry items will be used by the BEP personnel and may be exposed to paints, industrial inks, oils, greases, as well as solvents, and various types of acids and caustics. The type of items to be cleaned include: (1) Floor length shower curtain _ white 100% cotton, approximately length is 72 inches; approximate width is 36 inches; (2) Hand towels _ white 100% cotton, approximate length is 15 inches; approximate width is 20 inches; (3) Bath towels _ white 100% cotton, approximate length is 20 inches; approximate width is 36 inches; (4) Wiping cloths _ Medium blue and gray cloths 100% cotton, approximate length is 18 inches; approximate width is 30 inches; (5) Drop cloths _ white 100%, approximate weight is 14 pounds; and (6) Long coats _ Light blue coats and white coats 100% cotton, various sizes (small, medium, large, extra-large, etc.).
