Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-99-Q0447) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code for this solicitation is 7515. Far 19 classifies small businesses as those that gross equal to or less than $18.5 million annually based on the average of the offeror_s past three fiscal years. The item description is as follows: Non-Personal Service to lease one (1) Commercial Full size 4 X 4 truck for one year with two 12 month option years. Deliver to Nellis AFB, NV by 7 Sept 99. Truckshall have the following minimum equipment: Extended Cab, Camper Package, Off-Road Package, Large Diesel V-8 engine, Automatic Transmission, Trailer Towing Package, Class III Towing Hitch, Bed Liner, Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Tinted Windows, Air-conditioning, Large Tires, Steel wheels with full wheel covers, Full size spare tire, Rear fold down bench seat, Rear step bumper, and light colored exterior. Lease shall include unlimited miles for the life of the lease and manufacturers basic lease care program, factory warranty and all maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, according to the manufacture_s scheduled maintenance plan. Base year shall be from 7 Sept 99 to 6 Sept 2000 and option years shall include 7 Sept 2000 to 6 Sept 2001, and 7 Sept 2001 to 6 Sept 2002. The government will evaluate options for award purpose by adding the total price of all options to the total price for the basic requirement for the total three-year period.
