Z -- INSTALL SPRINKLER SYSTEM, BLDGS. 5676 AND 5678, FORT SILL, OK SOL DABT39-99-B-0006 DUE 101499 POC Laurie Wheeler (580) 442-3225/4315 The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Construct a building extension of Building 5677 for fire pumps, piping, valves, fire pump controls, and other fire pump components. Building extension to include a gas heating system and extension of drain lines. Trench excavation, installation of fire lines from existing water main to Building 5677 pump house addition and from the pump house addition to Buildings 5676 and 5678, storm sewer piping and structure construction, and backfilling of trenches for fire and drain lines. The extension of the electrical distribution system primary to a pad mounted transformer and secondary electrical to Building 5677. Removal of unused HVAC condenser water piping from the crawl space to the roof in Buildings 5676 and 5678. Install new HVAC piping in the crawl spaces of Buildings 5676 and 5678 and up to the roof through the pipe chases. Furnish and install new lighting fixtures, switches, combination smoke/heat detectors, end of line supervision relay and resister, wires, conduits, panels, metering systems, transformers, concrete encased ducts, concrete pad, asphaltic pavement, motors, motor starters, receptacles, wood pole, crossarms, arrestors, terminators, fused cutouts, connectors, ground rods, insulators, steel brackets, clevises and plastic moldings. Test fire protection and other systems for specified performance and correct any deficiencies found. Restore turf, pavement and other surfaces removed for construction. Repair surfaces inside buildings damaged during construction. The estimated issue date for this project is 14 Sep 99.
