The purpose of this notice is to announce the U.S. Army Military District of Washington Acquisition Center is issuing a Request for Proposals on or about 30 August 1999. The requirement is for all services, materials, supplies, plant supervision, labor and equipment to operate, maintain, repair and construct real property facilities and related services at Fort Belvoir, VA. Real property includes repair and maintenance of family and unaccompanied personnel housing. This intended contract period will be for a base and four option years. This procurement is unrestricted and the SIC code is 8744. Requests for the solicitation package shall be in writing and addressed to the: MDW ACQUISITION CENTER, ATTN: CONSTRUCTION/SUPPLY DIVISION, 9410 JACKSON LOOP, STE 101, FORT BELVOIR, VIRGINIA 22060-5134. Include with your request for the solicitation package THREE (3) self-addressed mailing labels for mailing of the solicitation and amendments if required. No e-mails or facsimiles will be accepted requesting the solicitation package. Sections A-M of the solicitation will be available in hardcopy and the technical exhibits/drawings will be provided on CD-rom. It is our intent to conduct a pre-proposal conference on 05 October 1999 at 10:00 a.m. and immediately following the conference, a site inspection will be conducted. The pre-proposal conference will be conducted at the MDW Acquisition Center conference room.
