54 -- MOBILE FACILITIES. SOL N68335-99-R-0248 POC Ms. Mary Novak (732) 323-7436 NAWCAD Lakehurst proposes to procure Mobile Facilities, constructed of the foam and beam method with an exterior surface of white painted aluminum, 8 foot wide x 8 foot high x 20 foot long. The size of the product requires special fixtures and unusual machining capability. Five types of Mobile Facilities are to be manufactured in accordance with detailed drawings. This will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. The part numbers and maximum total order quantity are as follows: Type A P/N 1339AS700-1 175 each; Type B P/N 1339AS701-1 225 each; Side Opening Type A, P/N 1339AS500-1 75 each; Side Opening Type B P/N 1339AS501-1 75 each; Side Opening Type C P/N 1339AS1101-1 25 each; and Integration Unit P/N 1339AS900-2 125 each. Contractor testing of First Article Test Units is required for each type of Mobile Facility and each unit shall be tested and certified in accordance with the International Convention of Safe Containers (CSC) Certification is required. FOB Origin via Government Bill of Lading, and transport by "air ride" trailer required. Delivery of the First Article is required within 210 days after date of contract. Delivery of the production units is 20 units per month commencing 180 days after release for production. Other requirements include, but are not limited to: magnetic particle inspection, penetrant inspection, welding, plating and finishes/coating applications.
