Mexico, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Ener-Tech,
Automated Control Systems Inc. 4730-D Pan American Freeway NE,
Albuquerque, New Mexico 87100. The objective of this effort will be the
delivery of the Blast Control and Monitoring System (BCMS) to perform
a critical function vital to the mission of the Kirtland Underground

Control & Monitoring System (BCMS) is not Y2000 compliant. Software
currently used needs to be upgraded to a Y2000 compliant system by
Ener-Tech. As part of the Ener-Tech upgrade, the existing monochrome
monitor mounted in the door of the main BCMS cabinet will be replaced
with a new PC based color monitor with a touch-screen bezel to support
the capabilities of the new software. Replacement display screens and
their creation will be accomplished in coordination with Facility
Maintenance personnel to assure proper identification and placement of
the facility unique requirements. Ener-Tech upgrade includes
management, engineering, software, field installation, training &
documentation, follow-on visits, monitor, cables, wiring etc. This
system must be installed during the installation of the new security
system (now being installed) to interface directly with the new
security system. The new Blast Containment System must utilize the
current interface to ensure compatibility with the new security system.
