The above systems must be Y2K Compliant and all vendors must provide supporting documentation addressing this issue. The Advanced Launching System Branch (N93) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA has been tasked by the VLS Program Office (PMS422) to conduct IV and V or MK41 Vertical Launching System. These systems will allow the N93 Branch to set up a test, evaluation and production environment for the upcoming IV and Vefforts in support of the Baselines VI and VII Advanced LCU Peripheral (ALP) and Launch Control Computer (LCC) development. Complete system compatibility with N93's VLS Design Agent is a must. Actual hardware specified by the VLS Design Agent for Baselines VI and VII will be loaded into the N93 environment so that they can fully analyze the design and operation for completeness and correctness. This requirement is to be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All vendors must provide written documentation from Radstone Technology Corporation giving them authorization to provide these systems.
