He/she shall provide those activities appropriate for a Clinical Section Director of Cardiology. shall provide technical direction, oversight and general support of cardiology care. Contractor shall provide a cardiac rehambilitation program for the Medical Center. A Contractor's employee must be present at the VA facility and must be actually performing the required services for the period specified in the contract. An Outpatient Cardiology clinic shall be conducted at the Medical Center twice weekly, 4 hours per clinic. On site physician attendance to see patients at the request of a Medical Center physician. This will also include but not be limited to consultations on preoperative patients scheduled for surgery the next day and for pos-operative patients as requested by Medical Center physician. Maximum response time of six (6) hours for patients scheduled for surgery the following day.
